a bit about me:

Matthew Cyphert (baritone) is a vocalist and teacher of vocal arts working in the greater Pittsburgh/Morgantown area, currently serving as a Doctoral Teaching Assistant for the Vocal Division at West Virginia University, where he formerly served as Adjunct Lecturer of Voice and Aural Theory in the School of Music from 2018-2019.  Matthew can be found performing as a recitalist, orchestral soloist, and operatic/oratorio soloist.  As a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Matthew takes great pride in his teaching career and his students.  Mr. Cyphert received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Vocal Performance with a Piano Minor from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Music in Vocal Performance degree from Kansas State University, and is currently completing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance and Literature at West Virginia University.
